This tour blew me away — it was my first time in Morocco and honestly, I didn’t expect the desert to feel this luxurious. From the moment we left Marrakech, our driver/guide (Hamid) made us feel like royalty. The hotels were boutique-style and absolutely charming, but the real gem was the desert camp near Erg Chebbi. Heated tents, proper beds, and a private bathroom — I wasn’t expecting that in the middle of the Sahara!
What I loved most was the balance: we had authentic cultural moments (mint tea with a Berber family, a drumming session under the stars) but never had to compromise on comfort. Food was fantastic too — fresh, local, and beautifully presented.
We’ve done luxury trips before (Kenya, Peru, Italy), and this one really stands out. If you want real Morocco without roughing it — book this!
After months of work stress, this 5-day desert tour turned out to be the perfect reset. Everything was smooth — the drive through the High Atlas was spectacular (especially the Tizi n’Tichka Pass), and our guide Youssef made sure we had tea stops at scenic viewpoints.
The night at the luxury desert camp was magical. Watching the sunset over the dunes, then sharing stories with our fellow travelers by the fire… just pure joy. Our tent was beautifully done, with comfy bedding and even a hot shower. I’m still dreaming of that dinner under the stars — candlelight, tagine, and the sound of drums in the distance.
Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for something soulful and peaceful but still want modern comforts. It’s a memory we’ll talk about for years.
