As you prepare for this adventure, ensure you’re outfitted for the rugged terrain, especially with comfy shoes for traversing the canyons. Expect surprises along the way, including potential opportunities to swim in certain areas, depending on the weather.
This tour offers a unique opportunity to connect with the locals, particularly through visits to cooperatives where you’ll interact with artisans and learn about their traditional crafts.
For this Canyonland Oasis Expedition, the best time to visit do it is in the spring (February to May) and autumn (September to November) as the weather is mild and pleasant.
Moderate walking and trekking is anticipated, although duration will vary depending on the site and activity.
Recommended clothing: lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for hiking and outdoor activities. A comfortable pair of walking shoes is essential, as are sunglasses and a hat for protection from the sun. Water will be provided throughout the expedition to keep you hydrated during your adventures.

The visit to the saffron and argan cooperatives in Tafraoute was a top of this, seeing the local crafts up close was incredible.. but Taroudant? That city took my breath away with its walls and vibrant history.
